H1 can be revoked by employer anytime, but they'll have to arrange for return transportation(in my opinion it is not as safe a fallback as it is commonly believed to be) - as always it depends on the employer

hopefully if we pay the $340 for EAD and $305 for AP for each person, we do not have to pay for it again until we get a decision on our GC.We just have to keep renewing these two without paying again..Please correct me if i am wrong.So its like pay one last time..hopefully.

The only good part is that they are not jerking the dates back and forth. Hopefully this is a sign that dates are not going to retrogress any further.
If they apply quarterly spill over, we should see some movement in December. Lets wait and see......

so from this link and answer to question number 4, I take you can't even get a license to be a real estate agent in the state of NY, let alone someone sponsor your greencard. Sorry to be so brutal, but with a Master's degree I bet u can get a much better job than a real estate agent. Just my 2 cents.

As a EB2-India hopeful I was Current in Aug/Sept 2008, and had a 99.9% of hope of getting approval. However, they did nothing then though many with a lot lower (later) PD's and RD's were approved.
Now suddenly, I got several sets of emails with "Card production ordered", "Approval notice sent" and "Wecome as a New permanent resident" messages (some more than one with same message).
So, may be USCIS is not following any PD dates announced in Visa Bulletins, but this time for good. Ironically, I also got emails on my AP approval, which is dated a day later than GC approval. Sequence of LUDs is - AP received 11/11 with a soft LUD on 12/10, I-485 approval on 12/11, AP approval on 12/12. Got another set of emails today with similar contents as in emails dated 12/11.
Perhaps a lot is going on to clear old cases. Have hopes, and do something so that your file comes to someone's attention. ....Best to all....

It is the law that you file AR-11 within (I think) 10 days after moving to a new address. If you do not do say, technically they can deport you. So send the AR-11 form with proof of sending. You can also submit AR-11 form online.
You should also change the address on the USCIS site. This operation is different from AR-11 submission.

Just for a change in topic, do you guys to know good Life insurance company who do not show prejudice between greencard holder and H-1B Holder.
I just got life insurance through select quote, west coast which coast only 22$ for � million insurance rejected me stating that there is a difference rate of green card holder and Alien.
I got through Prudential which is costing me 50$.
Any experience with you folks

I was in similar (not same) situation years back.. The difference was that in my case only one company applied for my H1B transfer and I got the approval without i-94, just like you and I had to re-enter.
I also stayed in the country looking for a job (without pay stub), etc... At the US embassy they only asked me how I got the next job, no other questions. Don't remember if they asked for my tax returns as at the time I did not make the required amount.. but I surly carried my returns.
I did not do any calculations in your case but the only thing that worries me is the time you were out of status. If it is more than 180 days then I might be little worried. May be guru's here can throw some light on that.

I filed for AOS in Aug 07, my attorney advised me that we could combine the checks payable to USCIS for family members (EG: in place of one check for my 485 and one more for my wife we could combine both the checks for 485 and issue a single check for twice the amount). Based on the above, i issued 1 check for 485, 1 for EAD, 1 for FP and 1 for AP.
Now my checks have been cashed and i am able to see the receipt number on the back of the cashed check. I see two receipt numbers on the back of the checks for EAD and AP however i see only 1 receipt number on the back of the check for 485 (and the same number on the back of the check for FP)
Did any body else also send combined checks? Did you get a single receipt number or multiple numbers?

Also I heard that they came got this data from USCIS and DOS as a part of their lawsuit against DOS or USCIS for wastage of EB-3 numbers for the Chinese quota. Again, the news if unconfirmed, but was posted on Ron Gotcher's site along with these links.

Ask your company to demote you to developer position once u get ur green card. GC is for a future job position.

Did any one get an RFE to prove educational qualifications for EB3.
I did. And i think its because my lawyer didn't include my degree evaluation. Once we sent that i got approval immediately.

People accepting money are not Mother Teresa or Registered Charity. In this country all kinds of people call you, email you and ask you for money for all kinds of reasons. Greed happens in tragic events too. Do not expect everyone in this world to have a pure heart. This case is genuine but we need better management and disclosure on their website. This is a least you can expect from educated University Students.
